We have recently assessed our organization’s approach and impact. As a result, we have taken steps to better align LSK with Lesideng’s needs. Consequently, we are making the following changes to our services to focus in the following three areas:
- College Students: Direct Support to a small group of selected college students (provided adequate grades are achieved and a commitment to “give back” is made).
- Bushveld Mission: A local non-profit organization which provides care and educates abandoned children. www.kids4sa.org
- Waterberg Welfare Society: An established organization providing care for HIV infected patients and their families. www.waterbergwelfaresociety.org
Each of these three areas are tightly managed and provide a great deal of positive support in a very troubled part of the world.
As the founder of LSK, my family and I hold these efforts close to our hearts. My career change has made it more challenging, but we can still deliver significant results. The improvements we have already made, along with knowing so many of you continue your support, is exceptionally gratifying. I hope you take pride in knowing we have delivered education, sustainable skills, and possibly best of all, hope for this community. Your participation has been so valuable. For this, we thank you.
